How to Catch Prospective Customers Early in the Game

How to Catch Prospective Customers Early in the Game

Earlier, I explained how the How to Double Your Business system can assist you to decipher the unrevealed contrasts separating keywords like “cockatiel” and “cockatiels”.

None can fault you for wondering in what way, if any, such contrasts carry weight , or if they can, in fact, increase your sales.

To weigh the profitable influence that knowing the mind of a searcher for niche keywords can have on your business, let’s analyze the customary conduct of a surfer searching for information, on the Internet.

Supposing surfers seek trivia on a new subject, they would probably key in words of a general nature, as compared to anybody who is not completely ignorant about the subject information is sought on. The latter kind of information-seeker will undoubtedly use more clear-cut key words.

To cite an instance, key words like “cockatiel” and “cockatiels” might be keyed in by the same searcher, but at different stages. If it’s a new seeker for knowledge on the pet bird, the search word used is likely to be the singular “cockatiel”.

The surfer, once he or she has some primary knowledge on the topic, will probably look for information on “cockatiels”, not “cockatiel”. Such a searcher might also seek a place where cockatiels are sold, and, consequently, type in “cockatiel shop”, or “cockatiel shops in Manhattan” to be still more specific.

Or he or she might want information on stopping a pet cockatiel from screaming or biting, and the associated search term could be “cockatiel training”.

This predisposition of becoming more clear-cut in search descriptions called the Search Continuum. You must know the frequency of searches is highest at the start of the search continuum. It is equally important to recognize that those who don’t have much preliminary information on what they are looking for cannot be expected to buy.

Thus, it stands to reason keywords of a more general kind more frequent in the initial stages of the search continuum sell in larger quantities at lower rates than keywords of a specific nature occurring at the other end of the spectrum. These cost more and are easier to transform into sales.

Internet marketers choose the second type of keywords that are more specific, though these carry a bigger price tag.

Therefore we may surmise that there’s a preference for a competitive environment with a higher acquisition cost.

If you can understand what a keyword searcher is thinking you could cut costs by selling to prospective buyers who type in general search words.

The benefit to you is two-fold as the keywords cost less while you get more buyers.

You can actually give the searchers more than they are looking for in terms of information which may induce them to buy.

The great thing is that the competition don’t recognize those whom you’re selling to.

Help answer the question about cockatiel

How do I get my cockatiel to stop screaming?
I recently bought a three year old cockatiel, and every time she sees someone through the window she starts screaming. There are even times she screams for no reason. Does anyone know of a good way to stop this behavior?

Is it possible? Yes, I suppose it is. But I would rather buy two separate cages for them to be in, than go to all the trouble of customizing a cage.

You might be able to separate it with plywood, or a large cage separator (can't buy as an accessory). The problem would be finding another tray, to hold newspaper, the same size of your cage (and then you need to cut the cage so the tray can slide in and out).

Question is, why do you need to separate it? Is there no room for 2 cages?
Try shopping around for double Decker cages, this one is on sale, but you don't need 4 cages! http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=5059+10346+13394&pcatid=13394

    Good Luck in your endeaver!

My husband says to have patience. Leave him in the cage for a week or two, cover the cage every night. Every day talk to it, change food and water every day, then after a week start leaving the cage door open, then walk away. After about 2 weeks start the finger-training but use a glove!

Young birds need lots and lots of attention, and buy that bird a mirror, all birds he's had have had a mirror for a companion. And some toys. Good luck with the new bird!

Young ones are usually more energetic, easier to train. Old ones tend to be more aggressive.

This is normal for a cokatiel and the same thing happened to me and I will tell u why they do that.

U see Cockatiels LOVE attention and they get a little bit noisy when no one pays attention to them but still that is normal. For the plant thing when you take it out and u dont give attention it gets board and has nothing to do and it gets stressed and all it can think about is chewing your mums plant and forgot to tell u cockatiels loves chewing.

Take him out when u think u will pay enough attention to him but if u think that u will not pay enough attention have a toy box near by with leaves, strips of paper (with no drawings just plain) And sticks.

    Take Care.

You should be able to teach him at any age. We get in rescues of all age and most of them learn very quickly. Find his fav treat and teach by repetition and reward. Say something over and over, when ever he says it give a treat. You can also use que words like I used to fake sneeze then say bless you. Eventually my bird started to mimic so I would sneeze and if he said bless you he got a treat. You can do that with anything. Just stay consistent and positive. Good Luck

  13. Nipivy Says:

Set the two cages close to each other so the two birds can interact without the risk of them hurting each other.

  14. wrack 'n' ruin Says:

Yes it could've been. Cockatiel lungs are very sensitive. Mine unfortunately died because I used cooking spray. That's how sensitive they are. Sorry about the loss. The bird needed to stay somewhere where the air is fresh and clean.
